This committee aims to educate students on the differences among race, religion, ethnic background, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identification and gender expression, in order to provide proper dental care to people of all backgrounds. Educating providers of the unique challenges faced by a diverse population will expand their knowledge and yield well rounded practicing dentists. Diversity and Inclusion aims to embrace, acknowledge and celebrate everyone’s unique background.
